Pousada Morena Moleca

I paid 1,000 reais for two days and couldn’t enjoy the stay, but they refused to refund me. The TV and air conditioning didn’t work, and when I arrived at night with no working AC, there was no comfort in the room. I had a terrible experience and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. The owner didn’t seem to care about guests or offer support, only about getting paid. The management and organization were awful. Look for another pousada.

My family and I had nowhere to stay after the pousada canceled our reservation without warning or explanation. We’d driven more than 600 km, and I’d been looking forward to resting with my wife and our 2-year-old son. There were no rooms left in town, and I couldn’t find another place right away, so I had to drive another 100 km before we finally found somewhere. I can’t put into words how bad that experience was.

I paid 50% after booking, but they wouldn’t let us stay, so I had to find somewhere else in the middle of New Year’s Eve. It was humiliating and upsetting, and I lost money. The reception and staff were awful and rude. I don’t recommend this place.

The room they gave us was spacious, but we couldn’t make it dark because there was an uncovered glass panel above the door. The breakfast area also felt dated, and some details could use improvement. Still, the pousada was simple and delivered what it promised, close to the beach and the center of canoa. The women who looked after us were wonderful, and we had a good stay overall.
