We had four peaceful days here with my family, with plenty of rest, quiet, and comfort. The rooms were clean, spacious, comfortable, and well ventilated, and the breakfast was excellent. The setting is cozy and the location is excellent. The best part, though, was the service: Gabi, the owner, was extraordinarily kind and friendly, and all the staff were thoughtful and attentive. A wonderful experience, and I’ll definitely return.

We stayed three nights. The place is nice, and we liked finding out the owner is Uruguayan like us. The manager, Vivi, left a lot to be desired, though. She refused to serve us breakfast on the day we left, among other things I won’t bother mentioning.

We loved our stay and highly recommend this beautiful, cozy pousada. The service from senhora Gabriela and Carla was impressively warm and courteous. Breakfast was great, the beds were comfortable, and there was air conditioning, hot water, a hammock, and a sea breeze. 14/02/2026.

Posada Terra Nova sits in a beautiful natural setting right by the ocean, with one of the best views in Canoa Quebrada. It’s also only two blocks from the town center. The rooms are lovely, with comfortable mattresses and nice bathrooms. The owners, Gabi and Juan, are kind, generous, and polite, and the helpers are just as lovely: Marcia, Karla, João, Sussi, Maria, and Natanael. Marcia is kind, funny, and an excellent cook, especially her tapioca. Karla is a funny, kind, and generous young woman. João works hard and is dedicated, while Sussi is kind, loving, and friendly. Maria is strong and dedicated. Natanael is the lookout, and with him at the inn, you feel safe. They serve delicious morning coffee with plenty of treats, including chipa, cheese and salami toast, tapioca, puddings, ham, cheese, bread, and more. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

The hospitality and friendliness here are the best. It’s an excellent inn, with spacious rooms, a great ocean view, and a good breakfast. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
