The rooms are nice, and the hotel has a great sea view. Breakfast is awesome. You sometimes hear a little noise in the corridors, but not much. The bathroom shower enclosure is small, though the water pressure is great.

Morro dos conventos has stayed very natural despite the years and some real estate development. I remember it from childhood, and the hotel was already there, with little change over almost 40 years. I wasn't expecting five-star standards, but the rooms, cleanliness of the shared areas, and staff training fell well short of what I expected. Reception is confusing, some rooms haven't been refurbished and show signs of water damage, and only part of the outside is painted. The pool was too dirty for me to use. On the plus side, the pizza was very well made and the views are lovely.

The hotel has everything you could ask for, including a pool overlooking the ocean. It's a beautiful spot near the beaches of Santa Catarina.
