Motel Riviera

Just okay.

The shower was a hassle: I tried opening and adjusting the taps, but couldn't get the temperature right. The TV remote was some kind of gadget I hadn't seen before, a bit bigger than a phone, and it wouldn't work. I called the front desk, and the woman said I had to turn on the TV first. I told her the TV was already on the wall, and that anyone could figure out touching the device's screen after reading it. Her voice on the intercom was so quiet that I gave up and hung up. When I pulled up in the car, the attendant started talking before I could see the letters on the chart, so I asked her to wait a bit. Once she handed me the key, I had to get out of the car to reach it. I'm not rating the place lower because this wasn't the first or second time I'd been there with my girlfriend. Oh, the bread on the X-salada was a little stale.

The room was very basic, which didn't bother me. What did was the attendant, who was completely out of line and rude. I only had a Coke after going into the room, but they claimed I'd eaten all the chocolates from the minibar. I had eaten just one kind, the one I brought in my bag, and I threw its wrapper in the bathroom trash. I asked them to check. Someone in the room even asked the “attendant” to stop being rude to me at reception because they could hear her over the radio. I'm completely dissatisfied. I understand people have days when they're not feeling 100 percent, but then they shouldn't go to work. Customers aren't responsible for someone's lack of joy in life or laziness about checking the room properly.
