The beach nearby is paradise, and the place itself felt so welcoming. The pool was spotless, the garden lovely, and the rooms well equipped. What stood out most was how kind and helpful everyone was. I loved it, absolutely recommend it! 😃

Just a block from the beach in Praia Seca, this pousada has a homely feel. The rooms are simple but really cozy, and the owners were very attentive. I’d definitely recommend it, it’s well worth it.

If you're spending the weekend in Praia Seca, in the Araruama district of RJ, this is a great pousada to consider. It's close to the beach, has satellite TV in the room, and serves an excellent breakfast. I highly recommend it.

The breakfast was more than good enough, and Vitória and Thayane looked after me really well. My double room was comfortable, the pool was excellent, and the beach is nearby. I had a great stay and will come back.

The only hard part was having to leave! Dona tetéia made us feel so welcome and even let us into the room well before check-in, then stay past checkout. She puts so much care into the place, which has a cozy, grandma's-house feel. Everything was neat and very clean, and the towels and bedding smelled lovely. Breakfast was fresh, and Dona tetéia makes delicious scrambled eggs right when you sit down. The pool was clean, and its area was really relaxing. You can walk to the beach, too. Our family had a lovely weekend, and I'll definitely return and recommend it. For all its simplicity, Dona tetéia's pousada puts any luxury resort to shame... hahaha. Congratulations, Dona tetéia, you've made it a very special place!
