I spent one night in a six-bed dorm, and the loose bunk shook so much I couldn't sleep. The mattress was so thin I could feel the bed base. There were lots of mosquitoes, with no window nets. My bed had no nearby outlet or reading light, no shelf for my glasses, no ladder to reach the top bunk, and no curtain for privacy. I also took a photo of the dorm's “house rules” sign.

The common areas are nice places to hang out, and there's a full kitchen. Friendly people, too. It's near everything, though getting to the center takes a 20-30 minute walk.

The standout for me was how clean everything was, from the bathrooms and shared spaces to the fresh sheets. The staff are warm, and Paisa, Vale, and Pau bring such lovely energy. Quinto Elemento has a relaxed family feel, with quiet hours respected, and it's spacious and green, surrounded by nature. The mattresses are comfortable. The shared room gets a little warm, but the two strong fans help a lot. I'd happily return and recommend it.

The garden is lovely, and both the kitchen and bathrooms were fine. My private room was very small and got quite hot with only a fan. It was 180 reais a night.

We booked two nights and somehow stayed for 19 days. The place is well located for both the center and the beaches, with a roomy, peaceful layout and a really well-equipped kitchen. The staff are attentive, funny, and friendly, and everything stayed spotless. Best place to stay in Buzios. Thanks so much, we'll be back.
