The place itself is beautiful, from the location and rooms to the beach, but we're disappointed with the hotel. Communication was difficult for us as English speakers, starting at reception and continuing with explanations about restaurant arrangements and meal times. The staff do try hard. At dinner on our last evening, my friend never got his main course. We reminded the waiter, but nothing came, and we sat for more than half an hour with just one main dish between us. Then, on our final day, the toilet in our room stopped flushing. We're back in our room hungry now.

We enjoyed a great hike to a secluded beach. Our room had a lovely view over the ocean and beach, the staff were great, and breakfast each morning was a fabulous buffet.

The rooms are really nice, and the private beach is super neat and quiet. It's a superb place, though it could use some improvements. The road there is in pretty bad shape, parking could be organized better, and the only dinner option is a buffet. For a three-star hotel, it deserves at least four stars.

The caipirinhas are the best, and I love this hotel! Duda and Mateo from the tour agency are the best people in the world ❤️. They gave me excellent service.

We found the location appealing because it was away from the crowds in Búzios, which was very busy at the time. The sea can be unpredictable here, and a trench may create an undercurrent. We'd been staying at the wonderful Rasa, so this felt like a change, though the views were nice. The rate was reasonable for generally expensive Búzios, the bed was comfortable, and we could park right outside our room. Our room was 82. It looked good on Booking, but, as with many properties in Brazil, it's best to inspect closely and visit before deciding if you can. There was water on the floor and washbasin, the fridge top was rusty, the curtain had holes where the light came through, and the TV was old. The phone to reception didn't work, so we had to use WhatsApp, and the internet was awful at times. A little more vigilance could have made things better. At the restaurant, it took an hour for a soup to arrive.
