Foca Guest House

We were very happy with the location, close to the town center and within walking distance of lovely beaches like Praia do Forno. The pool was spectacular, and breakfast had plenty of variety. Our room was spacious and lovely, with a beautiful view. The shower was excellent, the minibar and TV both worked perfectly, and everything was well maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help. Impeccable service.

We could walk to Brava Beach and Forno, and Rua das Pedras was less than ten minutes away on foot. The location worked out really well. The room was clean and a good size, with a spacious balcony and a great bathroom. The hot shower had excellent pressure. Breakfast was very good, with eggs, ham, cheese, baked goods, drinks, juices and fruit. There's coffee available all day and a full kitchen too. The pool was large, in excellent condition, and the water was warm and spotless. Joel greeted us warmly, paid close attention to our requests, and gave us contacts for buggies. The women working there were kind and attentive as well. The main downside was that the rooms could use better soundproofing.

The pictures don't capture how beautiful this place is, and it has such a lovely atmosphere. The service was excellent, and I highly recommend it. I went with my partner, though it would work well for families too. Breakfast was just what we needed. It's set between two beautiful beaches, and we walked to the town center. A few blocks away, there's an avenue where the vans to different beaches stop. I loved the stay and will be back.

I felt completely at home on vacation here. The rooms are simple, but they had everything I needed: they were clean, the mattresses were excellent, and the bathroom had all the amenities I could want. Joel and the rest of the staff were wonderful, and even breakfast was homemade. The location is convenient, near Forno Beach and Brava Beach, among others. I highly recommend the place and would definitely return.
