The Posada sits high on a steep hill, and reaching it on foot is difficult, especially with the poor pavement on the only road up. You can't really tell that from the photos. We rented a buggy to make getting around easier. On arrival, the receptionist greeted us with a list of things guests were not allowed to do. Quite the welcome. Our first room was heavily perfumed, as though the scent was meant to hide another smell, and the view was poor, partly over solar panels and cables on the roofs below. When we checked our booking, we saw it was a standard room that allowed dogs. They moved us to the superior room we had reserved, and the view was much better. As a European woman, I found breakfast terrible: lots of bread, toast, and sickly sweet cakes. The yogurt was brownish and not chilled, and neither was the gelatin. After our previous hotel, it felt like a total disaster. On vacation, I don't expect to eat a sandwich with gelatin for breakfast. The coffee was good, though. There didn't seem to be enough staff for the guests. Everyone was from Argentina and very kind, but I still definitely wouldn't recommend this Posada. If you do go, look for one lower down the hill.

The rooms are spacious and have cable TV, air conditioning, and a great view from the window. The hotel is in a good spot, about 300m from the beach, and breakfast is great. We did have a few minor issues that weren't addressed: water dripped from the air conditioner almost onto the bed, the TV signal was poor, and the bed, sheets, and blanket smelled old. I'd still recommend it.

The view was the one good thing, but the pictures can be misleading. I had to switch rooms three times. The air conditioners and fans were old, loud, and didn't work well. I got food poisoning after eating a hamburger in the restaurant at night. Maintenance was poor, the TV in the room was tiny with only four channels, and the sauna and jacuzzi wouldn't heat up. The shared areas were dirty. The employees do what they can.
