Getting to the beach takes only two blocks, but the hill is very steep, so this location works well if mobility isn’t an issue. The beds were comfortable, the pool was lovely, and the staff were attentive, especially Facundo. Breakfast was delicious and very complete. They also offer afternoon tea from 4 to 5 pm with pastries left over from breakfast. The inn was very good overall, though I noticed a few small maintenance problems, like a broken closet door and a towel that was a little threadbare.

There’s a lovely outdoor pool, and the town center is walkable. The inn is just steps from the beach. A calm cat gives the place a peaceful feel, and you can see some monkeys too. Breakfast was varied and delicious, served in a beautiful setting, with complimentary coffee and snacks in the afternoon. The coffee machine is fantastic. Rooms and shared spaces were comfortable, very clean, and well maintained. The welcome was friendly, and the staff were exceptionally kind and always willing to answer travelers’ questions. Highly recommended.

Lucia, Kenyi, Douglas, and especially Facu made the trip even more wonderful. Facu was always available, and the hospitality from everyone was outstanding. We chose this inn for our first family trip, a dream of ours, and it was absolutely the right choice. The location and facilities were beyond what we expected, and breakfast was a real treat. We’ll be back.

The views from the inn are breathtaking, and it’s on the best beach in Buzios. The staff are attentive to every detail and always ready to help. Everything was impeccable, with varied, fresh breakfast and cleanliness that gets a 10/10.

Paying an extra 150 reais was the only way we could get some rest. We’d first been put in room 5, where the air conditioner made a constant, extremely loud noise with vibrations in the wall. It was far beyond normal operating sound and made sleeping impossible. We reported it right away and were told it would be checked, but nothing improved. When we asked to move, they said no rooms were available, even though rooms were listed online as available at that moment. The only option they offered was an extra charge, 100 reais for a similar room or 150 for a superior one. In the new room the air conditioner worked normally, which showed the problem was specific to the first room. The troubling part was being made to cover the cost of the establishment’s own shortcoming. Our stay at Posada Dreamland Búzios left a lot to be desired in management and customer service. If you care about getting rest, don’t stay there. And if you don’t like cockroaches, same goes 🪳 🪳
