Pousada Peninsula de Buzios

My experience was very negative. The reservation photos didn't show the bathroom, and when we arrived it was in very poor condition: the mirror was broken, there was a water leak, and it was generally unsanitary. The towels were visibly stained too, which I found unacceptable for hygiene. Since the accommodation didn't match what the photos showed, we asked to cancel, but no solution was offered. The receptionist was polite, but couldn't make decisions or help us. Leonardo, the person in charge, never contacted us directly. He only spoke by phone with the receptionist, refused to look for an alternative, demanded payment, and threatened to call the police. The customer service and condition of the facilities don't measure up to what's advertised. I wouldn't recommend it.

Brava Beach and Praia do Forno are both less than a 10-minute walk away, and we always walked to the nearby town center too. For anyone with reduced mobility, be aware the inn is on an uphill cobblestone street and you enter by stairs. We had an amazing room with a terrace balcony and beautiful views, and watched some lovely sunsets. There are two pools with incredible panoramic views of Brava Beach and the surrounding vegetation. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. The inn itself is wonderful, and Sabri and Denis were incredibly kind and attentive. They gave us all the information we needed for getting around Buzios, ordering food, and sorting out any problems. We loved our stay. They made it feel like a dream come true. 100% recommended, and thank you for everything!

The chipa at breakfast is incredible! The area is very quiet, and I loved the peaceful walk to the town center and beach, even though you have to climb several stairs and walk a bit to get there. The Pousada is beautiful, with incredible views from the room and pool. The staff were excellent. Denis and Sabri were so kind and made sure our whole stay felt like a luxury. I highly recommend it!
