Honestly, it feels like a dream. It's peaceful, family-friendly, and the rooms and facilities are great. The pool is the best I've ever seen, just unreal. The host is so helpful, the staff are exceptional, and I recommend it a lot. I'm still amazed by the place.

An unexpected find in Arraial d'Ajuda. It feels like being in a gated community, with the beach only 150m away. There's a pool, balconies with hammocks, and a full kitchen. A bakery is 400m away, and the pizzeria is 200m away.

I could easily live here 😜 The apartments are spacious, airy, clean, and smell fresh. The beds, pillows, sheets, and towels were all comfortable or fresh-smelling, and the air conditioners were powerful and quiet. The kitchen worked well, though I missed having better knives, a big salad bowl, and a lemon squeezer. Everything else was covered, including a good coffee maker and sandwich press or grill. It was handy to have bath amenities and dish soap and a sponge in the kitchen while we got organized to go to the market. The garden was immaculate, with lovely cashew trees that brought in all sorts of colorful birds, especially toward evening. The pool was perfect, clean and pleasantly warm, with shallow, medium, and deeper sections. It's spacious, has a whirlpool, and is open until 22:00h. The staff were courteous and helpful. I did miss having the tablecloth replaced, which never happened, and there was only one dish towel, changed just once during our 8 days there. Small things that could be improved, but they don't take away from the place overall. The routes to the beach are easy, clean, and safe. There's a convenience store, bakery, and pharmacy nearby, and vans run between the ferry and downtown all day, stopping right in front of the pousada. We didn't even rent a car.
