Pousada Catavento

I spent 20 days at the inn. It’s very peaceful, with a spectacular location and lots of greenery. Celso, the owner, is thoughtful, attentive, and friendly, and Angelo is also helpful and always available. The one thing that could have been better was the cleanliness. Apart from that, everything was great.

The inn is a good fit for people who aren’t fussy. It’s a fair place to stay, with a good breakfast and a clean pool, and its location in the village of Arraial d´Ajuda is excellent, close to the beach. Nature lovers will especially enjoy all the plants and trees, and the birds that visit during breakfast. Celso and the team were very helpful, and I enjoyed my stay. We’ll come back and have another barbecue with Celso by the pool. Go without worry.

There are parking options, the pool is very good, and the inn has excellent facilities. Breakfast had lots of variety, and the room had a great bed and air conditioning. The bathroom is simple. The room could use a little more attention, since there was dust on the ceiling and ceiling fan, but that didn’t spoil the stay.

The breakfast was disappointing too. There were plenty of items, but they didn’t seem fresh. For the price, I expected better service and facilities. The room also fell short of what the photos and description led me to expect: it smelled moldy, the bedding looked visibly old, and the cleanliness wasn’t satisfactory.
