Pousada Raysol

I stayed at this inn from January 9 to 19, after booking in September. I had reserved a second-floor room with a balcony, but when I arrived they put me in a different room on the ground floor. It was awful, with no ventilation and a smell of mold and sewage. The window faced a wall, so I couldn’t see anything or tell whether it was day or night. I complained to the owner that this wasn’t the room I’d booked, but she paid no attention and wouldn’t move me. I spent all 10 days there without getting any answer from her. I felt completely dismissed. Be careful when booking here. It wasn’t worth it for me, and I regret staying. Look elsewhere so you don’t end up feeling the same way.

The place we’re staying at is one of the many wonderful inns here, with top-notch service and a sensational breakfast. Arraial d'ajuda itself is such a charming, welcoming little town, and its restaurants are fantastic. It’s a trip to remember. Just be ready to drink plenty of water and Gatorade. I highly recommend it, it’s an incredible experience!

Everything is close by, and the inn’s location is great. The breakfast was wonderful too. Tami and Jully welcomed me so warmly, and Tami gave me lots of tips, practically putting together a list of places I shouldn’t miss in town. That was really great. I recommend this place without hesitation!

We stayed at the inn from November 2 to 9, 2025, and the team looked after us from the moment we arrived. Our room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was great, and the whole place felt cozy. It’s in an excellent location very close to Rua Mucuge. My husband Jose Luiz and I highly recommend it, and we’ll definitely return.
