We loved the pool, especially how lovely it was at midnight. The rooms were airy, the beds had plenty of space, and everything had the comfort we expected. It’s close to the sea, and the house has everything you need. We spent the days at home by the pool and around the nice family table, where 22 people could sit together. Everything was just as described. We did spot a cockroach, but that’s common in Arraial and Porto Seguro too. I’d definitely recommend it.
We stayed in July 2021. The place was pleasant, quiet, and peaceful, and Araçaípe Beach is around 250-300 meters away on foot. The property has good facilities and a large pool. The hosts were welcoming and helpful, which matters when you’re a tourist who doesn’t know the area well. When I return to Arraial D'Ajuda, Villa Royalle will be one of the places I consider staying.
The pool was clean, and the house was lovely, tidy, and well organized. July and her husband were thoughtful and helpful throughout our ten-day family holiday in January 2020. We rented the whole complex, and Arraial was perfect!
We chose Vila Royalle in Arraial D'Ajuda for five days in 2016, while our eldest son was getting married. There were several events planned in Arraial, Rio da Barra, Trancoso, and Praia do Espelho, bringing relatives and friends from Brazil, Serbia, and several other countries together to celebrate the marriage. The place was just right for about five families, with the facilities we needed for comfort, convenience, and security. Juh, Edmilson, and their family were especially courteous, professional, and caring. The arrangement through Sargento Aécio Pego was fair. Thank you for everything. We hope to come back!
I’ve been spending holidays and days off at this same house every year since 2011. It’s become a big part of my life, and of my family’s too, along with the friends I bring along each time. The rooms, house, bathrooms, and pool are incredible, and being surrounded by nature there gives me such a good feeling. I love having big barbecues, then unwinding in the pool, which gets warmed by the Bahia sun. Edilson and Jully are always attentive to what we ask for and make everything feel easy. Staying here with the friends I’ve made in arraial d’ ajuda is always revitalizing.
