Villa Iamani

The place is right by the sand, shaded by lots of trees, with birdsong all around and the sound of the sea in the background. We even picked delicious mangoes. It was a pleasant surprise, with a rustic beach feel and a warm, family-style welcome. Jairo gave us such thoughtful, attentive service that we joked he must be the owner in disguise. Our room was simple and a bit cramped. We booked at the last minute, so only a quadruple room was available, though there are options for different tastes and budgets. One thing to keep in mind is La Plage beach club, which uses the inn's beach area. Guests don't get priority or special service there, so we preferred the nearby Corujão, Sting, Arraial Praia, and Canto da Alvorada. This could be reconsidered, though nobody had promised us special treatment.

The inn itself deserves praise. It's cozy and pretty, with wonderful service. The beach in front is lovely, and vans to Rua Mucugê pass right by the entrance. The one downside is the beach kiosk beside the hotel: it's not reserved for guests and doesn't offer a discount. They charge 100 reais per person to sit in the chairs, which I thought was very expensive, so I had to go to other beaches.

We'd happily return and recommend it. The service from Jayro stood out; he handled all our requests with courtesy and care. The location is excellent, there's parking on site, and you can step straight onto the sand via a beach club with a varied menu and a beautiful sea view.

Jairo at reception was very attentive, and I liked the restaurants by the path leading to the beach. I enjoyed the inn's calm, picturesque idea, but some chalets and the shared garden need maintenance. Given the condition of the whole space, I also thought the prices were a little above average.
