Canto da Praia Beach Hostel

After we went swimming, we came back to find an item missing after the room had been cleaned. When I told the woman at the front desk, she just shrugged and walked away. She even rolled her eyes when I tried to talk about it. They go through your belongings without permission, then can’t resolve or even discuss missing items. An apology was all I expected, so this was really disappointing and unprofessional. The blonde woman at reception needs to learn how to treat customers, or basic social skills. Any backpackers should avoid this hostel.

Everything was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. There’s a kitchen with a fridge, oven, utensils, and everything you need for a comfortable stay. We had a spacious room with a whole hall to ourselves, and I loved it. José took great care of us, and the owner was attentive too. We’re very grateful for the kind service. I’ll always come back when I visit arraial ❤️🌴

This was my second visit to Arraial, and I chose Canto da Praia again. The rooms are excellent, with balcony options, and the location is great. It’s on a quiet street with a really family-friendly feel. The service is outstanding. Both times, everyone was just as helpful and friendly, offering suggestions and doing whatever they could to make the trip more comfortable. If you’re uncertain, you can book with confidence.
