The service was good, and the place is close to both the center and the beach.

We left on the second day because the stay was so bad. The room only had fans, and with the corrugated metal roof we were roasting. The toilet clogged, the door broke, and everything felt awful. The neighborhood was another problem: the place is near the center but directly across from a really ugly favela. The Booking.com price was one amount, then they tried to charge me 540 reais at payment, even though places around there cost no more than 300 reais. I really don't recommend staying here.

The room had so many ants that we couldn't leave food out anywhere except in the fridge. They really should fumigate. The bathroom also smelled unpleasant, possibly because of a sewage issue. We lost power for more than two hours, which was uncomfortable in the heat. As foreigners, we were uneasy at first because the property is across from a favela and we had safety concerns. On the plus side, it's comfortable enough, the kitchen has useful appliances and is well equipped, and the location is right in the center of Arraial do Cabo, near Praia do Forno. We found the price high, since it was similar to several hotels with more amenities.
