Pousada Belezinha

The only decent part was breakfast. The room itself was awful: no windows, a sewage smell, a dirty shower, crumbling walls, and a rock-hard, terrible mattress. We tried sleeping on the pillows underneath us to make it more bearable, but it didn’t help. I’ve never slept so badly. I wouldn’t stay there even for one night. If you want somewhere clean, pretty, and comfortable, avoid this pousada. Cheap ended up costing us.

The photos give the wrong impression. There’s no ventilation in the rooms, and the old mattresses and pillows were dirty and uncomfortable. The sheets and towels were stained and worn. The bathroom was horrible, with a plastic sink and faucet, a leak under the sink, and a makeshift air conditioning setup. Breakfast was basic and nothing tasted good. It also starts at 8 a.m., when many people already need to leave for a tour or get to the beach before it gets crowded. For the price, I can’t recommend this low-quality pousada.

The staff were really attentive, and I enjoyed the breakfast. The pousada is close to Praia Grande, praia dos anjos and praia do forno. I’ve been to arraial four times, and I don’t come here to spend time at a pousada, I come to enjoy the beaches. I’ve heard plenty of criticism, but I had a great time. Come and enjoy this paradise.

We had even bought our tickets when this pousada left us stuck. I booked through booking, then got an automatic message asking me to contact them on WhatsApp and pay 50%. I did, and messaged Nyvian, but she didn’t reply. When I followed up, she said she’d already offered the reservation to other guests. That was completely unprofessional. Be careful with this pousada.
