The location near the main Praça in Arraial do Cabo is handy for the docks and boat or diving trips, and there's a lively party there every Saturday. Apart from that, I had a terrible stay. The room I was first given faced the street, and its windows did almost nothing to block the noise, even though I'd booked the best room in the inn. When I asked for somewhere quieter, they moved me to a much smaller room where the shower didn't work and the toilet barely flushed. Staff did nothing when I reported it. Then they tried to charge me for a late checkout the next day, despite the problems and my having to shower in another room. The beds were rock hard and dusty, and a friend staying there needed allergy pills the whole time. The photos look pretty and the location is good, but nothing works and nobody fixes it. If that's how things are in the off season, I can't imagine what it's like when they're busy. Avoid this pousada!
