Pousada Santo Anjo

Good evening. This was a terrible experience, and I don’t recommend the inn. The photos don’t match what you find when you arrive, and the price is absurd for such poor service. It needs urgent repairs: there’s no foot shower for rinsing off after the beach, a faucet is broken, and the bathroom sink is clogged. The breakfast fruit always had flies around it, which felt completely unhygienic. Soap was included in the package, but when I asked for it, I was told the supplier hadn’t delivered it. Receptionist Cintia was attentive until I’d booked. Later she messaged me to collect payment for hygiene kits that were never given to me. When I got back in touch to say I hadn’t received them, I’d already been blocked.

The inn is simple and cozy, with large, clean rooms and fresh towels every day. The staff were polite, helpful, and attentive. Cíntia especially gave us lots of tips for outings, which helped us make the most of our trip. It’s near Praia dos Anjos, and we could hear the sound of the sea. I’d definitely stay here again.

You can rent bicycles here, and the location makes it easy to get to downtown and the main beaches. It’s also near Pontal do Atalaia, where you can watch the sunset. The place itself is lovely and cozy, and all the staff were attentive and helpful.

The bed was so hard that it left me in pain with a stiff neck. We didn’t get a complimentary glass of water, and they didn’t replace the couple’s towels and bed linen. Only one towel was swapped. There’s no parking, and we were asked for the remaining payment as soon as we arrived, even though we’d already paid part of it in advance to hold the reservation. We stayed at another inn nearby, where we paid the balance when the room was handed over and were treated completely differently. I don’t recommend this place and won’t come back.
