The room was comfortable and the location was great. Breakfast was superb, and I liked the little extras, like evening coffee and biscuits and a bowl of fruit that was free to take.

The garden is gorgeous, and Casiola and Heraldo clearly put a lot of care into looking after it. They’re also what made the inn special for us, so friendly and kind when they welcomed us each morning. Breakfast was delicious and authentically Brazilian, with eggs they cooked fresh. The inn itself is beautiful and close to everything. I spent a week there with a friend, and we had a wonderful stay from start to finish.

The standout was how we were treated. Sr Heraldo, dona Cacilda, Hellen (recepção), and Tom welcomed my mother, our friend, and me with such kindness and courtesy. Breakfast was wonderful, and the location was excellent for the price. It’s simple, but it works really well. I just left and would absolutely recommend it. I’ll be back for sure!

Heraldo was especially attentive, and the staff were kind, which helped the Pousada’s rating. But the place needs more maintenance and cleaning. The mattress sagged, there was no bedside table, and the towels were quite worn. The bathroom had no ventilation to the outside, and there was a lot of mold on the tiles and ceiling. We had to open the room door to air it out. The room was cleaned only every three days, and only when we asked. The air conditioning barely cooled because its filter was very dusty. We asked them to clean it, and it worked properly only after that. Breakfast was basic and didn’t look like the photos.
