Orla Atins

The pousada is simple and rustic, but pleasant and very clean. The price is far too high for what it offers. There was no professionalism: an employee runs the place with family members, including children, who kept hanging around the breakfast table, sitting or lying there while watching videos or playing music on a phone, and sometimes serving themselves alongside the guests.

The pousada itself was a 10: clean, fresh smelling rooms, good air conditioning, comfortable beds, a consistently clean pool, TV, WiFi, and a tasty breakfast made with care. Try Francisco’s tapioca with egg. But what made the trip especially rewarding was Francisco, Leandro, and the whole Orla Atins team. From booking until I got home, Francisco kept in touch with local providers and checked whether we’d arrived safely and everything was going well, making sure we had the best experience and care possible. It was also my wife’s birthday, and everyone came to sing happy birthday with a cake Francisco had bought. I could say much more, but I definitely recommend Pousada Orla Atins.

The one drawback is that the pousada isn’t very close to the beach. Otherwise, we were very happy with our stay. The chalets are extremely comfortable, the beds and sheets were spotless, and the Smart TV and air conditioning both worked. Breakfast was delicious and scheduled for the time we needed, and Cida’s tapioca was especially good. Manager Francisco’s service was impeccable. He welcomed us with homemade bread and jam made from local fruit, and brought us coffee every late afternoon. Thank you!

Francisco’s welcome was the standout for us. He greeted us with coffee, bread he’d made himself, and a delicious cake. The place is beautiful, pleasant, and peaceful, and we had three wonderful days at the pousada. I definitely recommend it and would return.
