The pool, sauna, bar, and breakfast room were all pleasant. It's a surprisingly comfortable place after a superb renovation turned an unassuming, ordinary offering into something more interesting. The façade cladding has both industrial beauty and practical benefits. I left my Bluetooth speaker in the room when we checked out. Housekeeping hassled us about leaving at 11am, even though Reception had said that was checkout time. We left our bags and picked them up at 3pm. By then I assumed the room had been cleaned and the speaker recovered, but it wasn't with the belongings we collected. I wondered if someone had tried to steal it and given up. Otherwise, we had a very pleasant stay, and I have since been reunited with my speaker.

I’d stay here again for a short visit, especially if I were heading to Beto Carrero World. The beach is just two blocks away, and the place has both an outdoor pool for warm weather and a heated one. The rooms are small but cozy, set up for guests who can manage their things in limited space, and the whole place feels designed for practicality and ease. Breakfast is good, with a couple of fruits, several breads, cakes, yogurt, milk coffee, and a few nuts. There aren’t any bellboys, but that was fine.
