The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the staff are cheerful, friendly, and always ready to help. The location is very convenient, with supermarkets nearby and the iconic Ferris wheel and Camboriú descent close by. It also felt very safe.

The staff were good, and they agreed to give us a discount. That's about the only thing I can praise. We travelled through several states at the end of the year, and this was one of the worst places I stayed. It was also the only place where I spent two nights in two different rooms. Both rooms had bad showers, dirty furniture, and poor locks. The water got far too hot and the shower was clogged. In the first room, I could open the lock with my fingernail, though there was a manual latch on the inside. That room also had a dangerous, crooked balcony with a low, rotten railing, a TV that only got open channels, and very few outlets that looked like they might blow up. The single bed sheet was so small it wouldn't cover my whole body, even though I'm short. There was a chair full of splinters, too. The second room was worse. We carried lots of luggage up to the third floor because there was no elevator. Only half the corridor had lights, and the dark part where we were staying was full of old mattresses. When I opened the room door, the smell reminded me of the Rio Tietê. Sewer air came back up through the toilet and stank up the whole room. A gray pouf was covered in dust, and there was a butterfly that looked like it had been dead for months. At bedtime, I tried the bottom bunk but gave up because its wooden frame was moldy. The top bunk nearly collapsed when I tried that instead. I argued with my niece to turn off the light, but she'd already switched it off. When I got up, I saw a streetlight outside our window shining through the whole room. The breakfast was only a few wilted fruits and Pullman bread with ham and cheese. For what we paid, it should have been much better. If the inn had been cheap, I wouldn't have written such a harsh review, but it was expensive and bad.

The biggest problems are structural. The sheets and pillows were old, and some had mold stains. There weren't enough towels, some furniture was so old it was almost falling apart, and the doors were full of termites. A few stair steps were uneven, there was no guest bathroom on the ground floor that I could find, and I couldn't find a drinking fountain. There was also no room service during the stay. On the plus side, the staff were very courteous and polite, the air conditioning worked, and I thought breakfast was good. The sandwich makers could use improvement.

Horrible. I can't even describe how bad it was. The photos shown had nothing to do with the place. My room had a dripping tap and a broken light switch with its cover missing. I paid through the booking site. If there were health inspectors in Balneário, this hotel would be shut down, as it had no acceptable hygiene conditions. I don't recommend it.

The staff were all very polite and friendly, and the location is great. It's two blocks from Central Beach and the Ferris wheel, close to everything, with restaurants and snack bars nearby and a huge Havan store across the street. I stayed from 12/11 to 19/11. The building was the ugliest thing I saw in the city, which seems to give off wealth, and it needs a complete renovation urgently. I've never stayed in a hotel this ugly. It looked like a haunted castle. The floor is old and the walls are uneven and need smoothing and painting. The minibar was rusty. There is a wardrobe but no hangers, so you can't hang up your clothes. The staff don't wear uniforms, and the hotel's tiny name on the door isn't visible to people driving by. I'm writing this so the place can improve, not to damage its image. The sheets, pillowcases, and bath towels were old, worn, and faded, and there were no hand towels. The curtains don't block out the light, so the sun wakes you up. Breakfast was very simple, with few choices.
