I stayed here with my wife last year. The room was small and poorly cleaned, and breakfast was basic, nothing special. I'm posting this a year later because I've been trying to get back a night I was charged for unfairly. We arrived on Friday close to 10 p.m. after bad weather delayed us. We waited ages to be served, and the woman at reception was extremely unfriendly, as if helping us was a favor. The next morning, after breakfast, we went to return our rental car and have lunch. Bad weather, delays at the rental agency, and lunch meant we were about 30 minutes late for checkout. The hotel had our phone number through the booking app, and guest details are required on the accommodation form, so there was no reason they couldn't reach us. When we got back, the woman working there was rude and in a bad mood, scolding us loudly like children and saying they'd charge us for another night. She asked why we hadn't seen the checkout reminder emails. Who checks email while they're at the beach? She also falsely claimed they didn't have our number, even though we'd called several times the night we arrived. If she'd spoken to us politely and explained things, we could have stayed there Saturday. Instead, the disrespect drove us to another hotel. It's not about the money, but about basic manners. She should take a hospitality course or show the common sense you'd expect of someone her age. The hotel has potential, but seems neglected and is being looked after by people who aren't professionally prepared. Any apologies written below will be pointless if they're just an attempt to cover up the truth. They can keep the R$ 450.00 and buy better coffee for the next guests who don't know what to expect. Again, it wasn't about the money, but the elderly woman in charge was utterly disgraceful.

The rooms were clean and smelled like fabric softener, and the whole place felt cozy. The hosts were warm and friendly, and they gave us several restaurant tips. Breakfast was made with care.
