Agro Villa

I live in the city, and it's sad to see this place getting neglected and run-down. Now it mostly seems to be a spot for people to sneak off and kiss in the corners. Still, I think it's great.

The owner was so friendly and attentive, which really made a difference. It's a simple, rustic place in a good location, with several large, pretty, well-kept ones. It doesn't have the same welcoming feel as Pousada Agro Villa, though. We'll definitely come back another time.

We told the host we'd arrive around 6 pm, but when we got there half an hour early, the place was locked. I messaged to say we'd arrived and would take a short walk before coming back at the agreed time. At 6, it was still closed. We waited until 6:30, when he finally replied, “Oops,” and said he'd be there in ten minutes. Inside, there was a dirty smell, like a bar with fried food. The accessible room we'd booked was in disarray, so the host offered us an upstairs room that he said would be quieter. Its walls had a lot of mold, the floor was badly broken, and the sheet was torn and moldy. There was no hot water, the room smelled of sewage coming back up, and there wasn't even a fan. The place urgently needs care and maintenance. We couldn't stay the night and had to find somewhere else in a hurry. To our surprise, the other place was much better cared for and even cheaper. I don't recommend this one.

I felt right at home here. It's cozy and close to everything. Nothing fancy, but I definitely want to come back.
