The walk out to the tip of the beach at Gamela was the best part for me. Go near the start of low tide if you can. It’s a beautiful outing, about 5 km there and back, and takes around three hours at an easy pace. There are lots of pools, rocks, and fishing corrals along the way. The inn is close to the access point for Praia do Carro Quebrado, and it’s clean and well organized. Fair price and a good breakfast. Tatiana at reception is a sweetheart, really attentive, with standout service. If it hasn’t rained, you can drive a regular car to the beach parking area, though you’ll need to push the car a bit. It costs R$15. I highly recommend the walk.
