Ibis Barra Do Garcas

The hotel has a great setup, with good rooms and breakfast service. It’s well located, close to several shops. The cleaning staff and the people serving food were exceptional, and the rest of my stay was very good. But the reception service was disappointing. During the night shift from 03/01/26 to 04/01/26, the attendant didn’t tell me about parking, breakfast, or Wi-Fi, so I had to ask. He seemed curt when speaking to me. I’ve stayed at two other Ibis hotels, where they looked up my registration, but that wasn’t possible at this Ibis in Barra do Garças. I tried to pay in cash and they wouldn’t accept it, though the other Ibis hotels I’d stayed at did. The poor service, unwillingness to help, and lack of communication made the experience feel incomplete.

The hotel is new and very good, but the receptionist Alessandra really let things down. My husband and I arrived to check in, and she didn’t even say good afternoon. She just asked if we had a registration, looking bored and in a bad mood. Her service was awful and left a lot to be desired.

Everything else was good and comfortable, and the place was very quiet. The bathroom was really small, especially around the toilet. When I sat down, my knee bumped into the toilet paper holder.

The hotel and accommodations were very good and suited the price. Breakfast was quite tasty, but the dinner dishes weren’t very good given how expensive they were.
