If you need somewhere to stay in Barreirinhas, I’d choose another place. The building feels poorly put together, with gaps around doors and windows and unfinished areas. We found a cockroach in the bathroom overnight. The staff weren’t helpful and sometimes couldn’t be found. The inner area didn’t feel very safe either. I left my shirt drying on our porch, out of sight from the street, and it was gone when I came back. When I asked, the staff didn’t even check their areas. The one good thing is that Bambaê, a really good restaurant, is very close to the Pousada.

What made our stay special was Sr. Henrique. He helped arrange our tours and practically put our itinerary together 😅. On a day with nothing planned, he also recommended a nearby beach and offered to take us there. It was peaceful and really pretty! The pousada itself is quiet and cozy. Breakfast is simple but has what you need, and they refill things when asked. The rooms were clean, and the Wi-Fi, shower, and air conditioning all worked well. It’s not close to the center of barreirinhas, but we were given the number of a taxi driver who treated us very well. One suggestion: the pool could use a deeper clean. The water was clean, but there was some sludge on the tiles. We had a great few days here.

We stayed at Pousada Riostur with a group in June 2025, and it was great. Sr. Henrique and his wife gave us special attention. While our group was out on a tour, they organized everything for our barbecue. The apartments were cleaned daily, and breakfast was good. I recommend it!

The outdoor area is lovely, with hammocks and a pool. Rooms are simple and clean, and the administrators and staff are welcoming and very attentive. They also kept in touch with us right up until we arrived. Great service.

Good morning, Seu Henrique! You exceeded our expectations and took such good care of our whole group. The pousada is beautiful, cozy, and has a great leisure area. Breakfast was wonderful too.
