Siena Hotel

I liked the food. The rooms were good, and the hotel provided good service overall.

Excellent.

Hotel ...top

The worst kind of experience. When we arrived, the man and woman at reception told us very little about the hotel. My cousin had called ahead to ask about the prices, so we already knew the rates and room setup. My sister and I paid our share of the room we planned to share in cash, and my mother was going to pay in installments. Only after we'd paid did they tell us installments weren't accepted, so she had to pay in full too. We left our bags upstairs, then came down to get the car and see the city. While my sister and I waited on the lobby sofa for our cousin to arrive, the receptionist said the key had to stay at the hotel. When my sister opened her bag to get it, he rudely told her, “Don't bother making that angry face.” We felt embarrassed and intimidated. After that, we avoided the staff and didn't see those two again. The hotel itself is old. The room linens were awful, the towels were stained, the bathroom was grimy, and nobody cleaned our room during either of the two days we stayed. Breakfast was simple and decent, nothing special. Stay somewhere else if you can. The staff were clueless and the place was terrible.
