A beautiful, peaceful place, great for a family, friends, or a couple. The welcome and service were excellent. I’ve stayed at the pousada twice and made unforgettable memories there. I highly recommend it.

I stayed there the weekend after Carnaval. The pousada is simple but cozy, a good fit if you just need somewhere to rest. It’s right by the beach, and I thought it offered good value compared with other pousadas in the area. Breakfast is at 8 am, with regular and whole wheat bread, juices, coffee, milk, cold cuts, scrambled eggs, cereals, cuscus, tapioca, and other things. The area was deserted while I was there, with little going on nearby. The car is parked by the beach entrance, which is a square. It feels strange at night, though some shops are open for groceries and supplies. There isn’t much activity around the pousada. For evening entertainment, you need to go into Beberibe. It’s a short drive, but take care because the signs and lighting are poor. There’s also sand on the road by the dune with the wind turbines. For lunch, I recommend the barraca do João across from the square. It serves tasty home cooking, and I suggest the stingray muqueca. Don’t rely on social media for current information. A lot of it is outdated. Boteco das Fontes, for example, no longer operates and only opens to serve breakfast. The beach is beautiful and looks almost like paradise, but swimming can be dangerous because there are a lot of rocks in the shallows. Look for safe spots and avoid areas where fishermen have hooks in the sand. I suggest swimming where the jangadas are kept. That’s where they head out to sea, precisely because there aren’t rocks along that route. It’s a good place if you just want a quiet beach, a walk on the sand, and a swim. The Wi-Fi gave me trouble. The internet went down Saturday at 2:30 pm and was still out when I left Sunday at noon. The TV had no antenna and only worked over Wi-Fi. That didn’t affect me because I’d brought something to read, but it seems to be a recurring issue based on other accounts.

It’s very cozy, peaceful, and has a perfect sea view. The surrounding area has no history of violence, so pousadas with parking are rare. The service was great, and I highly recommend it.
