The service over WhatsApp was awful and incredibly rude. The person challenged me for asking for photos of the furnished house, saying she had already sent photos the last time I contacted her. She thought that conversation was only a year ago, but it had actually been longer. How does someone like that expect to get ahead? SENAC and SENNAI have free courses in entrepreneurship, customer service, hospitality, and reception. Imagine how they’ll treat people coming from out of town, hahaha.

The neighborhood isn’t fancy, but it’s simple and busy, the kind of place that feels familiar if you grew up with little. There’s more than you need nearby, including a supermarket, small grocery store, market, and a square. The airport is a normal 10-minute walk away. The owners and renters gave us plenty of support, and Dona Josy, the owners’ neighbor and friend, helped us a lot too, which made the stay better.

The apartment was spotless and smelled fresh, and the location was great with everything close by. It’s fully equipped and cozy. Andreia and Rodolfo were attentive, helpful, and polite, and the service was exceptional.
