Ibis Styles Belém Hangar

During a really stressful last-minute stay for the COP30 summit, Rodolfo helped me communicate when I was struggling with Portuguese, translating things into English. I’m very grateful for that. The room was clean, the food choices were very good, and the staff were helpful.

Every team I dealt with, from security and reception to the restaurant and housekeeping, was friendly and ready to help. Rodolfo especially deserves a mention. He communicates clearly, is great at solving problems, and used his language skills to help me through a difficult situation until it was sorted out. I’ll always be grateful. I spent several weeks at the Ibis Hangar while working on COP30, and found it comfortable and very convenient. Rodolfo Alana was especially friendly and helpful, always looking out for us and going the extra mile. He really shows the legendary hospitality of Belém. Well done!

The location is a real plus, and I’d call Ibis Styles Belém Hangar a solid choice for a short stay. My room was small but practical, and the restaurant served decent quality food, though I found the prices a little high, perhaps because of the upcoming COP30 event in Belém. I’d give the stay 7 out of 10. A few things made it less comfortable. There wasn’t any drinking water in the room or minibar, or even in the gym. One treadmill was out of order and had no notice on it. The elevators also aren’t connected, so I had to press several buttons to get one. And there were no power outlets near the bed. The hotel covers the basics, but the lack of water, gym upkeep, and awkward elevator setup keep it from being excellent.
