The clear, warm water is calm and lovely, and the scenery is breathtaking. Praia de Mogiquiçaba feels like a hidden paradise, with hardly anyone around and a well-preserved shore. Even so, there are two cabanas serving good food and drinks at very fair prices. Great value in such a peaceful spot.

You have to take the ferry at Santa Cruz de Cabrália to get there. It’s a very isolated beach, and there aren’t many bars or restaurants along the shore like there are in Coroa Vermelha. The beach itself is really beautiful, with lots of corals, though the sea is very rough.

Bring whatever you’ll need for the day, since the beach stays preserved partly because so few people come here. Walking along the shore toward the river, you’ll come across all kinds of scenery: corals, natural pools, and where the river meets the sea. It’s a paradise of a beach, good for surfers but also for kids.
