Breakfast is very good and plentiful, and the room was clean and nice. The hallway floor is completely worn out and needs replacing. Front desk staff speak good English, but in the restaurant the staff barely understand what you want, even with gestures. On my business trip, I’ve had a guest translate for me every day because the waiters don’t speak a word of English. Without that help, I wouldn’t be able to get a drink since they don’t understand my room number. All in all, it’s a fairly good place for business.

Breakfast is what saves this place from one star. The bread, fruit, and coffee are really good, though they never put out bowls, which is annoying. The hotel is in a horrible spot for tourism, and I was advised to stay inside after dark. Few people speak English, which makes things interesting. My bed was a single, too short, and had the worst pillow ever. It felt like coconut husks.

I came for the restaurant’s daily special, which offers three choices that change each day. The food was decent, but not excellent.

The rooms and breakfast are okay, and the park is kind of narrow. From the location, we get a great view of Belo Horizonte city.

The Intercity franchise is great. The view is nice, the room good, and the breakfast and dinner decent. It deserves five stars.
