The only decent things were the room service and food. The Wi-Fi was poor and seemed to work properly only in the bathroom or on the balcony. The rooms were badly set up, with uncomfortable beds and harsh lighting. If your room faces the elementary school across from the hotel, expect screaming children to wake you every morning and afternoon. The windows don't block the noise at all. The TV channels were terrible, guests were loud, and the shower often leaked because the door wouldn't close and hung open. I wouldn't stay here again. Those two weeks felt like a living hell.

The rooms were clean and spacious, and the breakfast was good. The location was great, and some of the staff were excellent, though others weren't. There was no room service menu or information in any language, and it was very noisy, with church bells each morning, loud water pipes, and people out in the street. Don't eat at the restaurant. The food quality was very low, maybe the worst cheeseburger I've ever had, and the fries tasted like they'd been cooked in very old oil. Would I stay here again? No.

The room was spacious, with several windows, and the bedding was comfortable. We had a comfortable stay at Dayrell Hotel in Belo Horizonte. There’s a pool, a sauna, and a very small gym, and the hotel is within walking distance of Mercado Central. Cafes, restaurants, barber shops, and a shopping mall are nearby. The staff were accommodating and attentive, especially the male staff member in the breakfast hall.

After a miserable two weeks at the awful "apart" hotel Pampulha Lieu, where we hated every moment, day and night, this place felt like fresh air for the rest of our time in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, thank God. The rooms were large and pleasant, with lots of light and huge bathrooms. There was great coffee and a good variety of fresh fruit in the morning, and the workers were very polite. We’ll definitely come back in the future.

There are plenty of other places to choose from in the area. This is a three-star hotel at best, and the rooms leave a lot to be desired.
