The shared room was a very good deal for what I paid, so if you’re traveling alone and trying to save money, this is a good option. For a couple, though, I’d choose a hotel: the private room price was close to hotel rates, while the quality seemed much lower. The breakfast was decent, not hotel quality, but still good. The owner is really welcoming and friendly, and there’s a nice shared kitchen and living room. The room itself could be more comfortable, especially the beds. I stayed three days and my towel wasn’t changed; with the rain, it stayed wet. The blanket was thin and short, and it wasn’t hypoallergenic, so it wouldn’t be suitable in cold weather. There’s no air conditioning in the rooms.

There was no consideration for me at all. The owner said the date was reserved, and I paid the deposit and signed the contract. Then I was caught completely off guard when I was told the place had already been rented to someone else. The owner didn’t even contact me to explain what had happened.

The owner was very attentive, and the place was super clean, with a pleasant outdoor area. You can use the kitchen and laundry, too. I slept really well in a great bed, and the breakfast was delicious. There are shared rooms as well as lovely suites.

I work nearby but haven’t stayed here myself. I’ve heard it’s good.
