The location is very good, but the hotel itself felt ordinary, with nothing beyond the basics. For what we paid per night, I expected more personality and better value. It’s a shame there aren’t more good hotels to choose from in the city.

It’s an excellent hotel, but the internet didn’t work, so I couldn’t get any work done or look things up.

The concierge team, Lidia and Ramon, really went out of their way to keep us comfortable and make sure everything was planned and ran smoothly. The hotel arranged our visits to Inhotim and Ouro Preto, and we came away very happy with how it was handled. Staff at the entrance and in the restaurant were friendly and accommodating too. The hotel is in a lovely central area, close to nice restaurants.

The hotel is showing its age, especially in the carpets and furniture. Still, the staff were fantastic. From the front desk and concierge to housekeeping and food service, everyone was kind and handled each situation with real experience and care. I can't praise their service enough.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and breakfast was great. Everyone there was extremely nice, attentive, and helpful. One of us also enjoyed a relaxing massage. We’d gladly recommend the hotel.
