The only real highlight was dinner at the downstairs restaurant, which was amazing. I think it’s called Oregario. It’s also only a block from the mall. The beds weren’t comfortable, and I could feel the side bed frames. I stayed for 2 weeks and checked out on oct 22nd. On the 2nd day there, the 12th, I left money on the table. I’d started with 300 and exchanged 120, so 180 should have been left. There were only $160. It looked like housekeeping had helped themselves to $20. I told the front desk, and they said they’d tell the manager and get back to me. After 2 days with no reply, I asked again. They said management would check who had entered the room that day. Another 2 days passed, so I asked again, and got the same answer about management checking the doors. I waited to see whether they’d tell me what they found, but I heard NOTHING about it before checkout. Sure, I should have used the safe, but that isn’t the point. When I first tried the safe 4 days later, it wouldn’t accept my password, and I had to wait until the next day for someone to reset if for me. The hotel seems careless and disorganized. As an American, maybe I should have trusted the nearby Holiday Inn, which looked better put together when I visited. The service was terrible, the rooms mediocre, and cleaning was terrible, with dust and dirt everywhere on the floors and in the rooms. The breakfast was most likely frozen. They even charge extra for ICE! What? The restaurant downstairs was the one bright spot.

The location is okay, right after a big mall, and the Olegario restaurant is super okay for dinner with a very good breakfast. For the price paid, the building and facilities need a refresh. Cleanliness was average, the room was small, and there was no iron or ironing board. The quality for the price is about average.

The hotel was well appointed, the beds were nice, and check-in went smoothly. I liked the hotel restaurant too. Using the elevators was a little annoying.

The room wasn’t especially large, but it was comfortable. The place was clean, the service was nice, and breakfast was quite decent. Good value for the price.
