They gave our room to another guest who showed up at the last minute, even though I’d booked a month earlier. I had to wait while they prepared a single room for me and my girlfriend, and in the end I paid the same price for a worse service.

The owner gave us a very warm welcome. Our room was comfortable, clean, and well ventilated, and breakfast was plentiful. If we’re in Raposos or nearby again, we’ll certainly return to pousada do Tico.

Tico and Dona Débora were so caring and attentive, and they’re definitely among Raposos’s biggest highlights. They made us feel very welcome. The inn itself is charming, with new rooms and bathrooms, a spacious, airy shared dining area, and a modern, well-equipped pool area. It’s well located for trails and close to the town center.
