Radisson Blu Belo Horizonte, Savassi

I always book this hotel when I visit Belo Horizonte for business. The rooms are nice, the staff are friendly and speak English, and the location is amazing. There are plenty of shops and restaurants within an easy walk, and breakfast is wonderful every morning.

The room was roomy, with a good view, and both it and the bathroom were clean and modern. There were plenty of elevators, which stood out after problems I’d run into at other large hotels in Brazil. The welcome was warm, and breakfast was served in a lovely space with a decent spread. A few more hot options would’ve been nice, but it wasn’t a deal breaker.

It’s a comfortable hotel with plenty of space. For the price, though, I expected more coffee in the room. There’s no room service after hours, so you can’t get any more.

The location, right across from the shopping mall, worked really well, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. We’d had a disappointing time at two other hotels, so we tried Radisson Blu Hotel Savassi and ended up staying six days. From the start, Jackson greeted us warmly, and Rafael showed us around the hotel and its amenities. Breakfast had lots to choose from and was delicious. The staff were helpful and polite throughout. The doorman always seemed to spot us arriving and ran to call the elevator. Jackson would also find me in the business room to offer water or coffee, and the breakfast team made us a tasty omelette each morning. I’d happily return to Radisson Blu Hotel Savassi.
