I’ve been trying to get a full refund since my stay, but I haven’t received one. I also asked twice to speak with the manager and was told they weren’t available. No one apologized. I was there with a friend, and an employee opened our room door without knocking on two separate occasions. The first time, a female employee saw my friend completely naked. He was deeply humiliated, and I screamed. When I reported it to reception, they said the employee had knocked, but she hadn’t. They assured me it wouldn’t happen again. Then the same thing happened the next afternoon, at around 12:20 pm. We were frightened again. The employee didn’t knock or apologize for invading our privacy, and my friend said she was very rude. This is completely unacceptable. Privacy and security should be basic when you stay at a hotel.

BEDBUGS! We stayed two nights, and found bedbugs in the room on the second night. The hotel moved us to a different room and promised a refund, but nothing has come through. We booked through Agoda, and still haven’t been able to get the money back from them either. I’d never stay at this hotel again, and I’d never book through Agoda again.

The hotel itself felt safe, but the bare-minimum facilities make it best suited to a night or two. The receptionists were very nice and helpful. Around the hotel, though, it didn’t feel very safe at night or during some parts of the day. Don’t walk around at night with your phone out or wearing a watch or jewelry. Daytime walks are fine, but I’d take Ubers at night. It’s adequate.
