The breakfast was surprisingly good, but I checked out after one night and booked the Hilton Garden Inn for the same price. It was so much better. This hotel felt depressing, old, dark, stuffy, and without frills. The furnishings were dated but clean, the staff adequate but dour and a bit grumpy, and the TV was the tiniest flatscreen from twenty years ago. Its remote was even missing the battery cover.

The staff were attentive and professional, and breakfast had plenty of good options. The rooftop was nice, with a small pool and a gym. It’s a decent hotel in a very nice Belo Horizonte neighborhood, and I had a good stay for a couple of nights. For the room prices, though, I expected a bit more comfort. The hotel needs renovating.

I felt very good at the hotel, and it was well worth the cost. I stayed for 2 days and would definitely return. The simple room was cozy, breakfast was good and varied, and it started very early. There’s also a pool, and the hotel is very close to Freedom Square. The internet left something to be desired.

We had a nice room, but the website said the swimming pool was open when we booked in summer. When we arrived, it was closed, with nothing on the website to warn us. Breakfast also wasn’t great for vegans, with no vegan milk and not many fruits.

It’s good value for money, though a little old. The laundry service is poor and expensive. Breakfast was okay, with fruit, bread, cookies, coffee, and juices that weren’t natural.
