MOSTEIRO Hotel de Charme

Lucas was very attentive and helpful, and the rooms are a decent size with average comfort. The breakfast was fine, but nothing special. The location means you really need a car, and on our visit there was drumming in a nearby building, with cars parked along the way making access difficult. The place is picturesque, sure, but not really charming, as its name suggests. A cockroach in our room was the worst part and brought my rating down to three.

The sisters maintain a beautiful chapel inside the hotel. The team were friendly and attentive, especially Anderson, whose excellent tips made our stay better. Breakfast was very good, and our room was spacious, clean, and well equipped. The hotel occupies a historic convent of the Sisters of S. José, almost a living museum, and it’s a ten-minute walk from the Historic Center.

Waking up to birds singing, with the place’s simple beauty all around, was lovely. The staff were attentive, especially at breakfast, where the service was warm and precise. Breakfast was generous, and the tapioca was the best I’ve ever had. I’d come back!

The peaceful, charming atmosphere of Mosteiro made our stay feel special. The historic structure is well preserved, and the rooms are comfortable and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was delicious and the service impeccable. I highly recommend it.
