Hostel Boracéia

It's about 900 meters from the hostel to the beach, a lovely and safe stretch that makes for a bit of exercise. The location is even better than staying in the condominium's first block near the beach, since it's right in the commercial center, close to the shops and amenities. The condominium is wonderful, and the hostel has a discreet, orderly facade. Inside and out, the place is attractive, very clean, cozy, and extremely family friendly, without the mess, sex, or drugs.

The location is good, right beside the commercial center with everything nearby. Mr Marcos gave excellent service, and the woman who works at the hostel was very attentive too. The owner who was there didn't even say good morning or good afternoon. My three stars aren't about the service, though. The snack bar customers are mixed in with hostel guests, so there's no privacy. A bar should be a bar and a hostel should be a hostel. They put tables outside the hostel, which takes away from how nice the place looks, and snack bar customers can access the hostel. It's a mess. Maybe we'll come back despite that. The window screens were all torn, and without insect repellent the room is unbearable because of the bugs.

The snack bar out front makes an excellent sandwich, and the location is great for a fair price. Hygiene was good and the facilities were okay, with a large pool and a barbecue area. I'll definitely come back!

The staff are fantastic. It's a pleasant, quiet place, good if you're looking to relax.
