The room had termites on the floor and in the bed, and the place itself was very basic. It was noisy at night, and the bathroom was cramped. The shower curtain kept sticking to me, and I got an electric shock. Parking was difficult for my 3/4 truck, and anything larger wouldn’t have fit. The air conditioning was a plus, and the service was very good. The people were polite. I’d recommend it for one night.

When my family faced an emergency in the city, the owners and staff at Hotel Salto do Norte gave us immediate practical and emotional support. Their dedication made it possible for us to return to our hometown, and without their help the situation would have been much more difficult. They were like guardian angels, offering far more than I could have expected from a hotel. The welcoming, family-like atmosphere made that care possible. I’m deeply grateful they looked after us and made sure our family had support. I’d recommend Hotel Salto do Norte without hesitation to anyone looking for a safe, welcoming place. My five stars are for the empathy and human support that no service manual can capture. I did have a few specific frustrations with the room and services, but this review is really about the people and their kindness.
