Breakfast was delicious and gave us a good start to the day. The hotel is central and comfortable, and everything else was good. We did have to ask for a blanket since none had been provided. One warning about an Uber driver called Tamara, who seems to be available near the hotel. She charged us for a three-hour drive to Florianopolis airport but dropped us at Navagantes airport instead. I realized what had happened at Sao Paulo airport and contacted Uber. At first they backed Tamara’s charge, which was three times what she should have charged. I made a big fuss, and Uber management eventually believed me and refunded the extra amount. I also let management at Ibis know about this financial predator.

The place has a nice vibe, and everything went smoothly during my stay. Check-in and checkout were quick, and the staff could speak English at both. The room was small, as you’d expect at a budget Ibis, but comfortable. My only little complaint is that the bathroom had just a tiny bar of soap. A small bottle of shampoo and conditioner would have been better.

The price was fair, the service was really friendly, and I could walk or take a cheap Uber to places around the city. I loved staying at the ibis budget blumenau.

We found it comfortable and very well located, with friendly staff from our first contact. The accommodation was very good for the price. Breakfast was included in our rate and was so good that we’d gladly have paid for it separately.

Parking is outsourced, and breakfast was included. The location is good, and it’s good value for money.
