Mario Pavesi runs this really charming place and has created a special atmosphere.

The natural surroundings are beautiful, which is what we were looking for, but the Instagram photos where we found the place don't match what we encountered. The chalet looked old and tired, with faded fabrics. It hadn't been cleaned properly: there were romantic-use petals left from a previous stay, the toilet was loose, and the bathroom smelled of sweat. One curtain had fallen down, exposed wiring was visible, and because it had recently rained, the balcony door had been left open and the floor was soaked. The driveway felt unsafe, especially in the rain. The tub wasn't big enough for an adult, and the restaurant was closed because the road was under construction. We tried to talk it through. Since it was New Year's Eve, we'd expected at least a bit of care in the chalet, especially for the R$1,200.00 nightly rate. We've stayed in very simple places for a fair price and still found them clean, with newer things. We know things break and that running a business is challenging, but it's not right to pay for something we couldn't enjoy, then have to cut our trip short and figure out what to do for New Year's Eve. The owner, Sr. Mario, said he'd refund us if he managed to rent the chalet to someone else (???). I contacted them on January 2 and was told to pursue our rights. It's a shame, since this could have been resolved calmly. I hope other people don't go through what we did.

Suzy could wander safely without a leash, which mattered to me as a pet owner. Camila was always attentive and made us feel welcome. The place has a peaceful feel and a wonderful view of nature, with a pleasant pool, restaurant, winery, and a trail leading to a river swimming spot. A magical place that leaves you with good energy. I loved the experience.

Such a peaceful atmosphere, and I really liked the homemade-style lunch. I enjoyed everything.
