Sítio Urbano

We walked to central Blumenau, the mall, and the Museu da Hering from here. The setting itself is beautiful, with lovely house architecture and the feeling of being surrounded by nature. It was wonderfully quiet, with birds, cicadas, and water running over rocks in a small stream on the property. Such a divine feeling, great for romantic moments and good walks. My wife and I stayed from the 1st to the 3rd of January, after New Year's Eve. We had some really pleasant, thoughtful conversations with our hostess, D. Sônia, who was always kind and attentive. We also enjoyed the company and affection of her sweet little dog, Panda. Grateful for everything, and may God keep blessing you!

We loved it. The place is quiet, well cared for, and leafy, while still close to everything in town. I stayed in a two-story chalet, with the kitchen and bathroom downstairs. The compact kitchen had everything, including a coffee maker, electric kettle, two-burner stove, pots, cups, plates, cutlery, and more. It was all clean and organized. The bathroom was rustic, with lovely decor, and very clean. It came with fresh, nice-smelling towels, soap, and shampoo sachets. Upstairs, the room was spacious, with a bunk bed, double bed, and sofa bed. The air conditioning worked really well. We didn't even use the TV.

We stayed in the middle of three attached chalets, number 2. It was cute, with a double bed, sofa bed, small kitchen, and private bathroom. Overall, it's a well-located, nicely decorated place that was left very clean, and we had a good stay. It's in a quiet residential area that feels a bit rural, about a five-minute drive from the tourist center. The access road is dirt, but in good shape. The nearby "trilha da placa" is a well-marked, roughly 15-minute uphill walk through the woods. At the top, there's a sign and a lovely view of the city. The grounds were well kept and decorated, with a closed parking area covered in small stones. There are large bins outside to take some pressure off the ones indoors. Inside, the bed was a little hard, and the pillows were low and fairly hard too, with just one per person. I found that uncomfortable. The sheets were good and clean, and the air conditioning worked well. There's a TV, but it didn't get anything, including Netflix, despite the owner's saying it worked. We know our way around electronics, but couldn't fix it. The little kitchen had the basics, all in good condition: a one-burner electric stove, microwave, mini fridge, pots, dishes, cutlery, cups, mugs, electric coffee maker, coffee grounds, filter, sugar, and salt. We were careful with rubbish and food because of the greenery and knew bugs might show up. Even so, lots of ants appeared on our last day. The bathroom was tiny, and the shower stall quite cramped, but the towels were good. There was hand and body soap, a hair dryer, shampoo, and conditioner. The owner greeted us without a mask, but was friendly and made us feel at ease.

What an experience, such a gorgeous place, just perfect. The chalets are beautiful, and you can hear the water running from the little waterfall. It feels like a piece of paradise. There are two lovely chalets, plus a timber-frame house with three studios, each with a kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. The owner is a wonderful person. Congratulations, and thank you so much.
